In this proficiency in art thesis study, a unique work has been created in a dramatic way to demonstrate the video mapping technique on II. Grand National Assembly of Turkey building, for the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the republic. Among the planned events for celebrating this important date, it has been found meaningful to use images created with video mapping to provide a visually impressive presentation. Prior to the application, in the fields of video art history, historical dimension of video mapping and augmented reality, samples were examined and a literature survey was conducted. The usage areas of video mapping have been classified and common techniques used in video mapping have been examined. The focal point in the implementation study was determined as the period when Ataturk and the Republic were proclaimed. During the preparation of the video content, an in-depth visual archive search for the period was made and the images, video footage and newspapers samples with relevant content were examined. In addition to the historical images selected from these examinations, edited footage and modeling of visual elements are included as the content of the video. As the facade to reflect the unqiue work of this study, II. Grand National Assembly of Turkey has been chosen and the reasoning behind this decision is; besides the fact that many important resolutions were taken in this building in republican history; the building has served as Republic Museum since 1981 and is a symbolic structure of the Republic and democracy visually. In this study, after reviewing video mapping techniques commonly used, a specific method for the work in the scope of this study was developed and presented in a methodological way that can be re-implemented.
