Sa 8000 Ve Iso 26000 İş Etiği Standartlarının Türkiye'de Uygulanabilirliği
Özet
Today's environmental problems and human rights violations in the business world have led to a questioning of purchasing behavior for consumers. This situation has made the ethical issue, a dimension of corporate image, a new and irrevocable variable for the global competition equation. The SA 8000 and ISO 26000 Standards are important to form a system of measurable value and the ability to develop a strategic perspective on corporate social responsibility. In the scope of this work, the current situation regarding the applicability of social responsibility standards in Turkey are discussed in conceptual themes. Within the scope of the study, the SA 8000 and ISO 26000 Standards were discussed in terms of legitimacy and content and deducted to be a strong response for CSR. Although the solutions of business ethics standards are at a good level to solve economic, environmental and social problems in terms of theoretical and normative aspects, it has not yet matured in terms of implementation. The fact that the assumptions of practice are established without taking into account local assumptions is considered to be one of the main causes of this situation. It is possible to define the level of economic and human development together with the theoretical studies in the CSR context as other headings that will determine the course of the standardization process. Business ethic standards, CSR indices and civil initiatives are limited in number and majority of them contain the normative perspective of the western world, which constituted the basic constraints of this study.
