İş Yerinde Etik Standartların Çalışanın İş Tatminine Etkisi
Özet
The standards of corporate social responsibility or in proper “business ethics standards” which take aim at business society, have rapidly emerged both in discourse and also in participation since the 1980’s. The aim of this study is to search the effect of these ethic settings on the job satisfaction of employee that is the substantive factor of corporations. Firstly the development of business ethics and the evolving period of philantropy and paternalism to “corporate responsibility” both in the world and in Turkey has been summarized; after that, the information about the four ethic standards – SA 8000, ISO 14001, ISO 26000 and UN Global Compact – and their aims along with the opinions of some academicians in regards to these standards has been provided; at the end, by analyzing the findings of the field survey, it has been concluded that the international ethic standards, in case implemented in line with their principles, positively effects the job satisfaction of the majority of the employee and there is also a need for ethic governance in the work place.
