Serebral Palsili Çocukların Ebeveynlerinin Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon Ev Programına Uyumlarını Değerlendirme Ölçeğinin Geliştirilmesi

This study was planned to conduct validity reliability analysis of Questionairre of Parents of Children wıth Cerebral Palsy Complience on Physiotherapy Home Program, which was developed to determine compliance with home program of parents of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP). Stages of development of this scale were completed and applied to 155 parents of children with CP between ages of 2 and 18 years. Demographic and clinical information of children and parental information were obtained. Pediatric Data Collection Instrument (PODCI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-I and STAI-II), Beck Depression Inventory, and WeeFIM were administered to assess parents' anxiety and depression and quality of life of their children. Scale was found valid and reliable (p<0,05). Scale was structured as 28-item long and 9-item short form. According to results from scale, %52,9 of parents applied home program on a regular basis and found significant relationship with functional level of CP (p<0,05). It was determined that physiotherapists were directly related to adaptation to the home program (p<0,01). There was a significant relationship between use of assistive equipments and compliance with home program (p<0,01). Although there was a significant difference between age of child and adaptation to home program (p <0,05), there wasn’t relation between adaptation to home program and family characteristics and other factors related to child (p>0,05).
In conclusion, it has been determined that environmentol, personal factors, therapists CP typs, severity, affects adherence to home program and each affecting factor must be solved differently in each parent and child to improve compliance.
