İki Farklı Lazer Sistemi ile Pürüzlendirilen Daimi Diş Dentin Yüzeyine Uygulanan Farklı Bonding Sistemlerin Bağlanma Dayanımının İncelenmesi
Özet
Acid etch is known to increase the bond strength of resin-based dental materials. The aim of this work is to compare the effect of femtosecond laser application, which may be an alternative to acid etch, and Er: YAG laser application after use with total-etch and self-etch adhesives on shear bond strength . In this study, 72 extracted by reason of impacted and caries free teeth were used. The teeth were each fixed in a acrylic resin block and cut with microtom from the occlusal surface in order to expose dentin. The dentin samples obtained were divided into 6 different groups to investigate the effect of different conditioning methods (Er:YAG laser, femtosecond laser and control) and different adhesive systems (total-etch and self-etch) on shear bond strength. After conditioning dentin samples, composite resins were bonded to surface via adhesive system and evaluated the shear bond strength. Later fracture surfaces were observed on stereomicroscope and fracture types were detected. It was found that, the results of the shear bond strength test and the investigated fracture surfaces were in accordance with each other at the end of the study. The shear bond strength of the dentin surface was found to be higher than the other groups in the Er: YAG laser roughened and total-etch adhesive used group. Regardless of the applied roughening method, there was no statistically significant difference in shear bond strength between self-etch and total-etch adhesive application (p> 0.05). In the light of the findings obtained within the limits of this work, after Er:YAG laser application, a combination of laser and acid roughening is required in order to achieve the desired bond strength on the dentin surface.
