As art and design are intertwined with science and technology and become a multidisciplinary field, the posters have undergone a transformation and a metamorphosis as well. The diversity caused by new technologies has paved the way for the disciplines to unite, and in a way, it has lifted the boundaries between the fields. An example of this diversity is digital displays used in public spaces. Today, the availability and applicability of public displays has led to many uses for these displays. In this thesis study, questions will be answered about how digital media in developing technology taking place of analog media; Why did not the poster disappear?, What are the characteristics that makes the poster indispensable and permanent? How can technology develop design principles in poster? The transformation of posters within the thesis study and the new usage areas that emerged as a result of this transformation have been examined through studies for culture and art events. The work of the thesis is aimed at the users to experience the use of posters in new media, to create interactive poster applications on digital screens to inform/inspire and promote participation in cultural-art activities, and to design a mobile application that will work in harmony with interactive digital screens. The aim of the product is to draw attention to cultural and art events with its striking interactive feature, while adressing to a broader target group rather than a specific one, as well as discussing the argument of whether "poster is dead" or not, in the light of the developments in the posters. Digital screens allow technological freedom, deepening the concept of a poster while adding a new dimension to it. It is seen in the research conducted within the scope of the thesis study that the basic principles of the poster have not changed. The changing point is that these principles and the elements of appreciation are to be conveyed through other means of media.
