Towards the end of 1950s, there has been an increase in the number of Hollywood movies and bigger production teams were started to be employed in shooting movies. The ever-increasing production team population became responsible for title sequences and resulted in prolongation of screen time of title sequences in movies. This paved the way for more harmony between graphic design and typography which started to receive more and more attention. All these positive developments made title sequences an integral part of cinema. The increasing importance of credits in proportion to advancing technology has been an important consideration in choosing it as a thesis topic.
