Kokoya Altın Cevherinin Değerlendirme Olanaklarının Araştırılması

In this thesis study which based on to evaluation of effective conditions on cyanide leach of Kokoya gold ore, the optimal production method was identified after investigation of the ore structure. Diagnostic leach tests were performed as well as mineralogical analyses to determine the ore character. Tests which were performed to establish that if the ore was applicabile for recovering with gravity, showed positive results. Tests were continued by grinding the ore in different grain sizes to examine the effect of grain size for the method which was created with the combination of gravity seperation and cyanide leaching. Both the gravity seperation recoveries and the cyanide leaching recoveries increased with fine grain sizes. Even positive results were obtained for gravity seperation tests which done with coarse grain sizes containing free gold particles, coarse gold particles did not dissolve at a particular time for cyanide leaching. As the result of tests, it was confirmed that the ore should be ground to 80% -75 μm which was optimum grinding size. Evaluation was carried out with the simulation tests of grinding setup that provided the conditions.
