Blockchain networks are producing and circulating crypto assets whose usage areas and market volumes
are increasing day by day. The legal qualifications of crypto assets, which are starting to integrate into
almost every aspect of our lives, are uncertain. In legal doctrine, there are many opposite views on the legal
qualifications of crypto assets. While some opinions do not even qualify crypto assets as property value,
some argue that they are in the nature of money. The common mistake in these views is trying to examine
the legal qualifications of crypto assets in single category. In this context, our study will focus on examining
what crypto assets are, at which point they should be examine in single category, and at which point they
should be separated as a legal qualification.
