The main purpose of the study is to examine the impact of personal values on self-leadership and the role of different generations in this interaction. The study consists of two parts. In the first part, the theoretical framework regarding the concepts of self-leadership, personal values and generation; In the second section, the research method is explained. The research was carried out using SPSS 26 and Smart PLS 4 programs, with data obtained by survey method from 376 officers and petty officers serving at the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy. Structural equation modeling and regulatory effect analyzes were conducted in the research. The findings supported the effect of personal values on self-leadership and the moderating effect of Generation Y on the relationship between personal values and self-leadership, but did not support the moderating effect of Generation X.
