With the increasing use of radiological investigations, its overutilization has come to the fore. In this study, it is aimed to determine the use of unnecessary radiological tests, and its causes through the doctors’ viewpoints. In this study, the conditions which were considered by the doctors while ordering the radiological tests, and the level of knowledge and awareness of the doctors about the radiological imagings were determined. A total number of 700 physicians in Turkey, 140 from each divisions of emergency medicine, medical sciences, surgical sciences, radiology departments, and general practitioners have been voluntarily participated in this survey via e-mail, between May 15 and October 30 in 2015.
