It has been determined that older children, children with lower education levels and girls are at risk group in terms of posttraumatic stress symptoms. Penetration of child sexual abuse and domestic sexual abuse have been found to increase traumatic stress. Socio-demographic and economic characteristics of parents did not predict children's traumatic stress but positive relations between child, mother and father and social environment were found to be effective in lowering traumatic stress after child sexual abuse
As a result, there was a significant relationship between traumatic stress and family relations and social environment. Relations with parents and siblings in family relationships have resulted in a decrease in traumatic stress.
