Physical labour intensive work is carried out at furniture production points and discomforts arising from these physical effects may occur in employees. With this thesis study, it is aimed to determine the physical limits of the movements of the workers in the furniture manufacturing companies during the working period according to the work points and to determine the stress in various parts of their bodies. Depending on this situation, the relationship between the existing discomforts of the employees and posture and movement disorders was tried to be revealed. Risk analysis methods called REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment), OWAS (Ovako Working Posture Analyzing System), HMD (Rapid Exposure Assessment) and RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) were used to determine the inappropriate postures and movements of the employees. The collected data were compared with previous studies in the literature. As a result, by using the measurement values obtained, recommendations were made for the improvement of existing working conditions and employee movement systems. In furniture production workshops and similar sectors, the angle and load limits that the postures of the employees during the work should comply with have been numerically revealed. In addition, with this study, it is aimed to determine what should be considered when applying ergonomic risk analysis methods in similar sectors and to guide new scientific studies.
