Çok Kültürlü Yeterlik Algısı, Sosyal Empati, Sınıf Yönetim Becerileri ve Kütürlerarası İletişim Kaygısı Arasındaki İlişkilerin İncelenmesi
Özet
The aim of this study is to reveal the relationships between preschool teachers'
multicultural competence perceptions, intercultural communication anxiety, social
empathy and classroom management skills. The relational survey model was used
in this study, which was designed quantitatively. The study group of the research
consists of 400 preschool teachers who have teaching experience in a
multicultural education environment and selected by criterion sampling from
purposeful sampling methods. The scales used in the study are: Multicultural
Competence Perceptions Scale (CPSAS), Social Empathy Scale (SEÖ),
Classroom Management Scale for Preschool Teachers, and Intercultural
Communication Anxiety Scale. According to the structural equation model
established based on the data obtained from preschool teachers, it was
determined that social empathy skills significantly predicted teachers' multicultural
competence perception through intercultural communication anxiety.
