Farklı Ayak Bileği Kuvvetlendirme Eğitim Programlarının Ayak Taban Basınçları ve Performans Üzerine Etkilerinin Karşılaştırılması
Özet
The aim of this study is to investigate isokinetic eccentric
(ECC), isokinetic concentric (CON) and elastic band (LAS) strengthening program
effects on healty sedantary males’ ankles on strength, endurance, balance, jumping
performance and foot plantar pressure. Sixty-four males between 18 and 26 years of
age participated in the study. The participants divided randolmly three groups which
are concentric isokinetic (n = 22), eccentric isokinetic (n=21), elastic resistance ankle
strengthening groups (n=21). These trainings were done three days a week, for eight
weeks for both side. Strengthening programs procedures were progressively harder
by using increase with number of repetation or set. Measurement for evaluating
strength, endurance, balance and jumping performances and foot plantar pressure
were repeated before, after and 1 month follow up after trainings. There were
statistically significant increases in concentric evertor strength and endurance for
both sides of the all groups after training program (p<0.05). After training programs,
it was not shown statistically improvement in invertor muscles strength and
endurance except CON group (p>0.05). Eccentric strength values were not
statistically significant for isokinetic groups (p>0.05) but there was significantly
decreased for both side eccentric invertor muscle strength after training and 1 month
follow up after training for LAS group (p<0.05). There were statistically significant
increases after training program in jumping performance of the all groups (p<0.05).
All parameters were significantly higher among CON compared to LAS group
(p<0.05). There was significantly improvement dynamic balance after isokinetic
training program (p<0.05). There were not statistically significant differences static
balance performances and foot plantar pressure for all groups (p>0.05) except CON
group dominant side eyes opened and non-dominant side eyes closed static balance
values and nondominant side EKS group medial heel, dominanat side LAS group
basis of metatars plantar pressure (p<0.05). In conclusion ankle isokinetic training
program is more effective than elastic resistance training program regarding
improvement on endurance, strenght, explosive strength and dynamic balance. Ankle
muscle strength training programs, which include stabilizator muscles, can improve
performance, especially when applied concentrically. Ankle muscles strength
training programs may be applied to athletes for ankle injuries prevention especially
returning to play after ankle injuries.
