Seramik Form ve Yüzeylerde Ütopik Distopik Arayışlar
Özet
Trying to understand what life holds for an individual with the given order with all the interactions of the individual's life, and how the individual positions the desire to be happy within what is given, and investigating the duality and relationship of utopia and dystopia, which are concepts that are the products of this search, and to reflect this on the artwork in light of the evaluations made, constitutes the purpose of this study. In the first part of the study, attempts of definition have been made in terms of the information on the concepts that form the basis of this study. The concepts of utopia and dystopia have been studied as terms and within the historical process. The concepts negative feelings, happiness, desire concepts that are thought to be the cause of utopia and dystopia have been tried to be explained. In the second part of the study, the relationship of the concepts with each other within the explained scope was discussed. In the third part, the relationship between utopia and dystopia and art was investigated, and the works of art that are thought to be examples are presented. In the last part, the ceramic works, which are made with the impact of the process in the study, are included. In this context, the connected concepts used in the expression of ceramic works have been "seed", "formation" and "going on a journey".
