Uzay Uygulamalarında Kullanılan Kompozit Sargılı Basınçlı Bir Tankın Yapısal Tasarımı ve Analizi
Abstract
In this thesis, structural design and analysis of a composite overwrapped pressure vessel (COPV) used in satellite propulsion system is presented. The aim is also design a composite tank lighter than all-metal fuel tanks having the same volume. Moreover, necessary design stages have been revealed for similar composite overwrapped pressure vessels. The finite element analysis software, ANSYS is used to perform stress-strain analysis of both metal and composite parts, determine the optimum winding angle, tank autofrettage, modal and random vibration analysis, fracture and fatigue analysis for the metal liner to obtain numerical results.Tsai-Hill, Tsai-Wu and Hashin theories have been implemented to detect various failure modes of the composite part.
