Kömür Dışı Uygulamalarda Kabaran Yataklı Sınıflandırıcıların Performansının İncelenmesi
Abstract
Aim of this study was to investigate the classification and concentration characteristic of single density and artificial mixture minerals on a teetered bed separator which is one of the new generation hydraulic classification device. In addition, cut size values which calculated with hindered settling equations appear in literature compared with experimental results. As a result of the study; it was observed that classification performance and cut size mainly depends on the teeter water flow rate, but pulp density mainly depends on pressure set point. In order to achieve coarser cut size teeter water flow rate and pressure set point must be increased. In addition it was observed that as the cut size getting coarser, the amount of underflow and bypass decreases and classification efficiency getting increase. High grade iron concentrate was taken from underflow under the high teeter water flow rate and high pressure set point conditions.
