This study consists of four main parts. In the first section of the study , informations about historical development and content of the thesis are given.
In the second section, some definitions and theorems related to module theory and ring theory, which are necessary for the target and subject of this thesis to be to understood well are given. For these definitions and theorems, Herstein's book "Noncommutative Rings" [10] and Lam's "A first course in commutative rings" [15] have been widely used.
In the third section, the characterization of semi-perfect rings with commutative adjoint group is given.
In the fourth part of the thesis, the case of adjoint group of $R$ being nilpotent when $R$ ring is Artin ring is studied.
