In this thesis study, firstly step recovery diode theory have been investigated and operation principle of SRD has been given detailed. In the next step, design of frequency multipler circuit with SRD are analyzed using ideal diode model. Finally, using AWR simulation program, quadrupler frequency multiplier circuit is designed which converts 250 MHz input signal to 1 GHz output signal. This circuit is fabricated and measured performance of output power and suppresion of the harmonics. Different methods has been given detailed making the necessary adjustments to improve the efficiency of circuit.
