The aim of the study is to examine lower extremity gait kinematics in individuals with unilateral transtibial amputation in environments similar to environmental conditions in daily life. Ten transtibial amputees and 10 healthy individuals as a control group were included in the study. Individuals were asked to walk at a comfortable pace on flat ground and moving ground, walk fast and slow on moving ground, climb and descend ramps, walk on unstable ground, and go up and down stairs. Lower extremity kinematic data were evaluated with a three-dimensional motion analysis system during all trials. Individuals were similar in terms of demographic and anthropometric characteristics. The collected data were analyzed under four headings as walking on different surfaces (flat, treadmill and uneven grounds), walking at different velocities, walking at different slopes, and ascending and descending stairs. Comparisons between conditions and between extremities were analyzed in these four titles. As a result of the study, differences were found in lower extremity angular kinematics and time-distance parameters of gait in all conditions (p<0,05). In the light of the data obtained and the results obtained in previous studies, it is thought that gait analyzes should be performed in individuals who are planned to be included in the amputee rehabilitation program in environments similar to the conditions in which the individuals live, symmetric gait training should be given under these conditions, and gait analysis should be performed while planning, modifying and terminating the training program.
