Okuduğunu Anlamave Edebî Sanatlar: Çocuk Kitapları Üzerine Nitel Bir Araştırma
Özet
The aim of this study is to reveal the level of use of literary arts in different types of children's literature works at primary school level and the level of students' reading comprehension and literary arts in these works. This research, which was carried out in two stages, is a basic qualitative research. In the first stage of the research, 50 children's literature works constitute the study materials and were selected by criterion sampling method. In the second stage of the research, a total of 95 second, third and fourth grade students studying at a public primary school in the Etimesgut district of Ankara province in the 2020-2021 academic year constitute the study group of the research. In the research, 50 children's literature works were used as data collection tools in the first stage and achievement tests were used in the second stage. Descriptive analysis and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data of the study. As a result of the research, it has been seen that the most frequently used literary arts in the works of children's literature are metaphor, repetition, diagnosis, contrast and invocation and the least used literary arts are tariz, tecahülüarif, istidrak and hüsnütalil arts. Considering the general average obtained from the achievement tests, the highest in the 3rd grades and the lowest in the 4th grades in literary arts; In reading comprehension, it was seen that 3rd graders had the highest average and 2nd graders had the lowest average.
