Culture, which has been the focus of language teaching researchers in recent years, is one of the most problematic issues in the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners. The literature review shows that there are many scientific studies that examine the textbooks used in teaching Turkish to foreigners in terms of culture. The main purpose of this meta-synthesis study, which reviews the primary studies examining and evaluating the cultural contents in Turkish as a second/foreign language textbooks between 2010-2020; is systematically bringing together the findings of these primary studies. Sub-objectives that have been successfully achieved to achieve this aim are as follows: A comprehensive and detailed literature review was conducted in various national and international scientific databases to determine primary research, and within the framework of the determined criteria, the aspects which were researched more and the aspects which were researched less in the studies that questioned the subject of culture in Turkish as a second/foreign language coursebooks were determined. The commonalities and differences between the publications included in the review have been put forward based on comparison, the preferred scientific research type, methods, data collection tools, textbook review and evaluation approaches have been determined, and general evaluations and recommendations have been made based on the data provided at the end of these processes. In order to achieve these goals, the meta-synthesis method developed for the systematic review and compilation of qualitative research was used. The sample of the study consists of twenty-six primary studies on the subject, which were determined according to the purposive sampling method and met the criteria for inclusion in the meta-synthesis. In the analysis of the data, the thematic synthesis technique developed by Thomas and Harden was used. The aim of this thesis is not only a summary of the relevant literature, but also a critical evaluation of the approaches of primary researches to the subject of cultural contents in textbooks. In addition, it is hoped that this study will contribute to the Turkish literature on how the current concepts related to culture teaching, which are discussed in the theoretical part, can be brought together as a result of the researcher's individual readings. Thus, it is thought that it this research will enlighten future research. As a result of the study, it has been revealed that Turkish as a second/foreign language textbooks have deficient, weak and problematic aspects in terms of the place, selection and, presentation, adequacy of representation and ratio of cultural content.
