Şap Aşısı Üretiminde Kullanılan 146 S Testine Alternatif Kromatografik Yöntem Geliştirilmesi
Abstract
Foot and mouth disease (FMD), which is common among double-hoofed animals, is a viral and very contagious disease having a major importance in economic terms. Seen in countries as Turkey, where the disease is endemic, preventive vaccination is of great importance in the fight against the disease due to the geographical and economic conditions. Vaccinations used are formulated according to the whole virus particle concentration called 146 S. The formulation of vaccine production in proper dosage providing effective protection is very important as well as being lucrative. Vaccines which do not contain enough antigens are either unable to generate a sufficient amount of the desired level of protection on animals; or increase the cost unnecessarily by enabling the producer to put more antigen into vaccine. The optimal vaccine formulation whose standard deviation and the error probability is low, can be performed via high reliability testing method.
