As a requirement of the right to health, which is one of the basic human rights, it is necessary to protect the current health of the patient, to detect the disease and to treat the disease in order to cure it. For these purposes, it is important for doctors to determine the medicine appropriate for the disease and for the patient to reach the right drug. Medicines are mostly delivered to the patient with the recommendations of doctors and through pharmacists. For this reason, it is expected that the medicine tradebrands will not cause confusion so that the doctors can correctly determine the medicine that will treat the disease, the pharmacists deliver the drug to the patient, and the patient uses the drug recommended by the doctor. Since medicine are different from other products in terms of their qualities, the likelihood of confusion should be taken into account in the registration of medicine tradebrands, since likelihood confusion them may cause serious consequences for the patient. In the evaluation to be made in this context, it is important to determine the attention of the average consumer in medicine tradebrands.
