Today, "Public Institutions Professional Organizations" (KKNMK) are organizations that carry out activities both in the professional field and in the public sphere, as organizations with public legal personality, framed by Article 135 of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey. Due to their specific and powerful status within the Turkish Administrative Structure, it is considered essential for the KKNMK to be managed with today's contemporary management understanding and techniques in order to properly fulfill the responsibilities they have undertaken together with its mission and duties. This thesis study, which evaluates KKNMK from the "Corporate Governance Perspective", is considered important in terms of revealing the level of compliance of KKNMK with the "Corporate Governance Principles and Techniques" and guiding the causes of possible incompatibilities and solution suggestions. In the study, first of all, extensive information about KKNMK is given. In the second part of the thesis, the concept of Corporate Governance, its history, features and applications are examined. In the third part of the thesis; A field study was conducted in which answers were sought to the questions of "Can the Corporate Governance Principles in KKNMK be applied in Turkey" and "if applicable, to what extent the current KKNMK in Turkey is compatible with these principle. As a result of the research; It has been determined that there are "Corporate Governance" mechanisms within the structures and activities of KKNMK, although not systematically, and the level of compliance with "Corporate Governance Principles" is "Medium Level" for all KKNMK. Subsequently, evaluations were made regarding the deficiencies that caused the incompatibility and the areas that needed improvement, and the study was concluded with recommendations for policy makers, KKNMK and researchers and academicians who would like to conduct research in this field.
