Kemik Doku Implant Malzemeleri: Osseointegrasyon ve Antibakteriyel Etkinlik
Abstract
This study aims to improve antibacterial titanium coating which enhanced osseointegration at the same time. Titanium (Ti) substrates covered with antibacterial polyethylene oxide (PEO) fibers which have functionalized with hydroxyapatite (HA) particles to improve osseointegration and their characterization studies were performed. Osteogenic and antibacterial activities of coated Ti plates were examined with in-vitro cell culture analysis.This study shows that protein and cell adhesion resistant PEO polymer coatings are functionalized efficiently with hydroxyapatite nanoparticles and this coating supporting osseointegration.
