Identities are constructed based on time, place, culture, structural conditions and, at the center of all, individuals' vital experiences. How identities are perceived is an element that is affected by experiences and also directs new experiences. Guilt and masculinity, as action-based and bodily experiences, are two different areas of belonging to the 'guilty male' identity, but they have become sometimes conflicting and sometimes conflicting routes on the way to identity. In the research, the ways of experiencing crime and masculinity of men who have experienced recidivism were discussed, and in this direction, it was aimed to make the interactions between crime and masculinity visible. For this reason, qualitative interviews were conducted with 14 adult men with repeated violent crime experiences. The life experiences of the participants were examined from a multidimensional perspective as root family, marriage, institutions and social relations. Results; The evaluations of individuals in the axis of family relations (1), the ways of making sense of masculinity in the focus of gender (2), how repeat crime is experienced and its effects on identity (3) were examined and interpreted with a postmodern feminist perspective. According to the results of the research; The relationship between masculinity and crime in the lives of men with repeated violent crimes has an appearance that changes dynamically according to the socio-cultural structure of the environment they live in, their position in social life, the quality of social interaction, their experience of labeling, the level of repetition of crime, the quality and duration of institutional sanctions. It has been concluded that masculinity is a position that can be strengthened through violence under certain conditions, and that masculinity and crime are in a cyclical causal relationship.
