Yaratıcı Drama Eğitim Programının Çocukların Sosyal Davranış ve Sosyal Problem Çözme Becerilerine Etkisi

This research was conducted to examine the effect of the creative drama training program on children’s social behavior and social problem-solving skills. In the research, quantitative research methods, pre-test/post-test and control group experimental design were used. The study group of the study consisted of a total of 40 children of 60-66 months of age, 20 of whom were experimental and 20 of whom were the control groups, studying in an independent kindergarten under the Directorate of National Education in Niğde. In addition to the preschool education program, the Creative Drama TrainingProgram developed by the researcher was applied to the children in the experimental group. The data in the study were collected through the Preschool and Kindegarten Behavior Scales (PKBS_2) and the Wally Social Problem-Solving Test (Wally Social Problem-Solving Test). Data in the study were analyzed using the SPSS package program. To analyze the differences between variables, Man Whitney U Test was used for intergroup comparisons and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was used for comparisons within groups. In addition, eta-square (ƞ2) value calculated to determine the effect of creative drama applications on developing social behavior and social problem-solving skills. Spearman Correlation Analysis was used to determine whether there was a relationship between social skills and social problem solving skills of the creative drama training group. As a result of the research, it was seen that creative applications had a significant effect on the increase of the total scores of social skills and social problem-solving skills of the children in the experimental group.
