Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the traditional ecological knowledge of Sofular Village of Isparta Aksu District in the context of folkloristics. Traditional ecological knowledge examines the interaction of people who have not lost their connection with nature with the environment. Traditional ecological knowledge studies, as an interdisciplinary field, are at the intersection point of disciplines such as biology, anthropology and architecture, especially folklore. In this study, it is aimed to examine the cultural and environmental harmony of Sofular Village in the context of traditional ecological knowledge, folk botanism, folk medicine, folk veterinary and culinary culture, which are the main study field of folklore.
