Farklı Sosyo-Ekonomik Düzeyden Gelen Ergenlerin Çocukluk Dönemi Örselenme Yaşantılarının Bazı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

Purpose of this research is to examine the cases of abuse that the adolescents from different socio-economic levels faced in their childhood, and put forth the risk factorsand problems in their families.In order to conduct the research 6 schools were determined according to TÜİK(Turkish Statistical Institute) data and 331 adolescents were reached of which 165 were from Altındağ and 166 from Çankaya. Childhood trauma scale was used in the research. The data obtained were processed via SPSS (versison 15). The fact that the physical and emotional trauma scores appeared out to be almost equalin Altındağ and Çankaya indicates that physical and emotional abuse is seen not only in the lower socio-economic level, but also in the families in Çankaya whose level of education and income is higher.
