Yoksul Kadınlar için ‘Sıcak Yuva/Özgür Kent’ Hayaliyle ‘İmkansız Medeniyet’ TOKİ; Feminist Sosyal Çalışma ve Kent İçi Yoksul Alanların Dönüşümü: Ankara, Aktaş Mahallesi Örneği
Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out how the daily lives of women are changing within a framework of neoliberal urbanization. The research is based on the case of the Aktas district of Ankara, Turkey, and is developed on the assumption that the neoliberal urbanization projects directed at poor inner city areas create a significantly problematic issue for feminist social policy and social work. Within this context, the research tries to make visible the relations between the daily lives of poor women and their citizenship rights in the process of neoliberal urbanization. The research is designed as a feminist etnography and focuses on the experiences of poor women that live on social aids and entitled to live in cluster housing TOKI because they are land owners.
