Franz Lıszt Transandantal Etütler'in İncelenmesi

Abstract

Transcendental Etudes, which are one of the most important etudes of the piano repertoire, developed into its present form that has reached us after a long period of approximately 25 years. In this process, the reason for the renewal of the work twice was not only Liszt’s personal development in the piano, but also the developments in his life. For example, the fact that he listened to Paganini in Paris between 1826 and 1851, the period when he wrote the etudes, had a great influence on his musical style and he began to reflect Paganini’s mastery on the violin in his style by characterizing it on the piano. In this study, which aims to be a source in Turkish for pianists and people to do research on Liszt, the harmonic and form structure of Transcendental Etudes, as well as the technical elements of Liszt’s music style, are mentioned.
