Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ve İş Performansı İlişkisinde İşe Bağlılığın Aracı Etkisi: Turizm İşletmelerinde Bir Araştırma
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship between perceived social support and job performance and the mediating effect of occupational commitment on this relationship. For this purpose, perceived social support were taken with three dimensions as perceived organizational support, perceived supervisor support and perceived co-worker support. Job performance were taken with two dimensions as in role job performance and extra role job performance. The study was conducted with 300 employees working in five star hotels in Ankara. The structural regression model which is a kind of structural equation model was set and path analysis conducted to determine direct and indirect effects between the variables. Research findings has indicated that perceived supervisor support and perceived co-worker support have direct effect on job performance whereas perceived organizational support has no effect on job performance.
