Ahmedî Dîvânı'nda Tarihî, Efsanevî, Mitolojik Şahıslar ve Arktipleri

Abstract

Ahmedî, who is one of the fathers of classical Turkish Literature, is one of the prominent poets of the fourteenth century Turkish Literature. In this study, how Ahmedî’s rich mythological accumulation reflected on the historical, legendary and mythological figures in his Dîvân and how the mythological cultural backgraund of Ahmedî and in the perception of the poems of his period, and to exemplify them with couplets in the context of archetypes. In the fist part of this two-part study, prophets and people who are adverted in holy books are itemized and their extraordinary features are analyzed in the context of archetypes. In the second part, mythological and legendary figures are itemized and their archetypes and how they are reflected in Ahmedî’s Dîvân are analyzed.
