Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to provide the visually disabled students in the Campuswith the accessibility rights by the help of tactile information and guidancethrough graphics. With the purpose of enabling them to have an active role inthe society and encourage them to lead a normal life, it is within the social aimsof the study to ease their individual movement freedom. The technical aim ofthe designed tactile information graphics is, with the tactile graphics andguidance provided for the benefits of all the visually disabled or low visionedstudents living on the Campus (as well as civilians), to increase theirindependence and to provide a secure and unobstructed environment. Manyproblems which have had a negative impact on the lives of the visually disabledpeople were tried to be understood for our research through negotiations. Byconsidering the problems and solution suggestions, the thesis as follows hasbeen shaped.
