Diyalektik Bağlamda Mekamorfi ve Anatomi
Özet
Artificial and natural forms are the source of the existence of art. In particular, these two structures are the anatomical forms that we can define as the machine which are tools for understanding and transforming nature and the part of living things. There is a dialectical relationship in this existential context between this form duality, which can be defined as mechamorphy and anatomy. While the theoretical study conducted within the scope of the thesis focuses on revealing the dialectical relationship of the polar polarity duality, the application studies aim to turn this dialectical relationship into artistic form.
The evolution of machines historically and the relationship of the body with these new forms are reflected in works of art. However, advances in technology have made the boundaries separating the machine and the body uncertain, and these two conflicting forms have transformed the mechamorphy and anatomy into a harmonic build. This build is also a new form of life that can be described as a dialectical synthesis. The process of transforming the thesis into form in art consists of the searches for plastic starting from this new life form.
Within the scope of the thesis, which focuses on the dialectical relationship of mechamorphy and anatomy, firstly, the philosophical bonds of the dialectical relationship between man and machine are examined, then how the mechamorphic and anatomical forms are handled in art and the reflections of this dialectical association to contemporary artists with the new possibilities offered by todays technology. In line with these researches and investigations, plastic analyzes and analyzes were carried out with dialectical approaches based on the conceptual and formal contrast of mechamorphy and anatomy.
