Kondanse 1,4-Dihidropiridin Türevlerinin Antioksidan Kapasitelerinin Elektrokimyasal Yöntemle İncelenmesi
Özet
The relationship between free radicals and diseases like cancer, diabetes, hypertension, alzheimer, parkinson and aging emerges more and more day by day with recent studies. Oxidative damage caused by free radicals in the system is prevented by enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants. But, endogenic antioxidants such as α-lipoic acid, melatonin and glutathione are insufficient against increasing amount of free radicals. This situation requires synthesis of antioxidants with high activity, low toxicity and side effect. According to a large literature sources, dietary antioxidants are useful for protecting against free radicals and play an important role in the prevention of many diseases in humans.1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives are used as active pharmaceutical ingredient due to their biological activities. They are known as the most important calcium channel blockers and their antioxidant properties are being researched.
