Kiral Fonksiyonel Gruplar İçeren Yeni Porfirin Türevlerinin Sentezi ve Karakterizasyonu
Abstract
Porphyrins are compounds which are found in many important natural compounds and have significant importance for biological systems. In this work, the synthesis of chiral meso-substituted metalloporphyrin and chiral meso-substituted porphyrin compounds from pyrrole compounds was aimed. Chiral meso-substituted metalloporphyrin compound was successfully synthesized.In the second part of the study, the synthesized chiral meso-substituted metalloporphyrin compound was used as catalyst in the 1,2-addition reaction of diethylzinc to benzaldehyde. Synthesized products were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR AND HRMS techniques.In the last part of the study, three porphyrin molecules connected to each other from meso positions were synthesized by condensation reaction of porphyrin compound which contains formyl group on meso position. Obtained product was identified by mass spectroscopy technique.
