Abstract

In the era of globalization, intercultural competence is expected of each individual. The development of science and technology enables advanced travel and communication possibilities, which ensure the convergence of society. To achieve a successful communication with foreign people, understanding and reflecting foreign cultural values, norms, rules of behavior and things like that are necessary. Therefore, the learning and teaching of other cultures and the development of sensitivity towards the other is an inescapable requirement.Scientific studies show that the teaching of foreign languages plays an important role in the support of intercultural sensitivity. Therefore, intercultural learning in language teaching can be effectively designed, with the expectation that foreign language teachers have developed intercultural sensitivity.
