Abstract

This study; examined which is made for the purpose of analyzing 7th Grade Science and Technology Textbook and Teacher s Guide Book in terms of laboratory usage technique; MEB Publications 7th Grade Science and Technology Textbook and MEB Publications Teacher s Guide Book, which are used at middle schools in 2013 - 2014 academic years, were used and analyzed. At the Science and Technology lessons in which the usage of laboratory takes an important place, it is necessary for the primary source textbook and teacher s guidebook to serve for practical activities. In addition, it is necessary for the aforementioned sources to guide students and teachers in terms of laboratory usage technique. In this research, data obtained from 7th Grade Science and Technology Textbook and Teacher s Guide Book by using document analysis method was resolved with content analysis and descriptive analysis.
