Abstract

The aim of the study is to develop and to investigate effects of multimedia based discussions supported online learning environment. The developed online learning environment provides many opportunities such as writing comments, adding audio or visual material to make comments and reading, watching or listening to existing comments according to individual differences of learners. The study group consisted of 63 seniors who were enrolled in Project Development and Management – II course. The study was implemented at last 8 weeks of 2011-2012 Academic year s spring semester. The study consists of five sub problems. These are learners opinions on online learning environments and the properties of developed environment, online participation status of learners, relationships among online participation variables, effects of blended learning model on academic achievement and relationships between online participation variables and academic achievement...
