Subakromiyal Sıkışma Sendromunda Farklı Fizyoterapi Tedavilerinin Ağrı, Fonksiyon ve Yaşam Kalitesi Üzerine Etkinliklerinin Karşılaştırılması
Abstract
Subacromial impingement syndrome is one of the most common shoulder disorders which characterized by shoulder pain that is exacerbated with arm elevation or overhead activities, in adults, with a high socioeconomic impact on working ability.The purposes of this study were to determine the effectiveness of the conventional physiotherapy and, the kinesiotaping on pain, function and quality of life in patients with shoulder impingement syndrome and to compare with healthy people. This study was carried out with 30 patients with subacromial impingement syndrome and 15 healthy subjects. Eligible patients were randomly allocated to the study groups: Conventional physiotherapy group (PTG, n=15; mean age: 51.26 8.5yrs) received hot pack, TENS, ultrasound therapy and exercises and kinesiotaping group (KG, n=15; mean age: 53.1 7.3yrs) treated with kinesio taping and supervised exercise program.
