Subakromiyal Sıkışma Sendromunda Farklı Egzersiz ve Kinezyobant Uygulamalarının Ağrı, Fonksiyon ve Eklem Hareket Açıklığına Etkisi
Özet
The aim of our study was to investigate the effects of home exercise program, virtual reality exercise program and Kinesio Tape applied along with them on scapular dyskinesia in patients with subacromial impingement syndrome (SAS). 60 patients with SAS Syndrome were randomized into 4 groups which are Home Exercise Program (EX), Home Exercise Program and Kinesio Taping Application (EX+KT), Virtual Reality Exergaming Program (Wİİ) and Virtual Reality Exergaming Program and Kinesio Taping Application (Wİİ+KT). All groups were taken into a 6 week treatment program. Patients were assessed at the beginning and at the end of the treatment for pain (with Visual Analogue Scale), range of motion (with goniometer), special tests for SAS (Neer and Hawkins), special tests for scapular dyskinesia (Scapular Retraction Test (SRT), Scapular Assisstance Test (SAT), Lateral Scapular Slide Test (LSST)), flexibility, isometric muscle strenght, posterior capsule tightness and shoulder disability (SPADI). No statistically significant difference was found between before and after treatment in EX and EX+KT groups (p> 0,05), but significant difference was found between before and after treatment in Wİİ and Wİİ+KT groups (p< 0,05) in SRT and SAT tests. No significant difference was found between groups in LSST-1 test results (p> 0,05). LSST-2 and 3 test results were not found significantly different between EX and EX+KT groups but were found significantly different between Wİİ - Wİİ+KT and EX-Wİİ groups (p<0,05). In our study, virtual reality exergaming programs are found more effective than home exercise programs and Kinesio Taping applications applied within these programs do not have additional effects on scapular diyskinesia.
