Sezaryen Sonrası Sakız Çiğneme, Erken Oral Hidrasyon ve Erken Mobilizasyonun Bağırsak Motilitesine Etisi
Abstract
This research was conducted to define the effect of gum chewing, early oral hydration and early mobilization on the gut motility after cesarean birth as a randomized controlled study between the dates of January 2011 and November 2011 in Ordu Maternity and Children Hospital Participants in the sampling were taken into eight implementation groups as 30 people for each group, and total participant number reached 240. Women giving birth by cesarean action were split into eight different groups (as groups which were given all of the implementations, only one implementation or two implementations together) depending on three different implementations including gum chewing, early oral hydration and early mobilization. Women in the control group weren?t given any intervention. Mother?s gut sounds were listened once every 30 minutes via stethoscope over abdomen; first flatus and excretion time were recorded by asking mothers verbally. Data were evaluated via average measurements, percentage calculations, Student?s t-test, one way analysis of variance, correlation and Tukey?s HSD test. In the first group all of the implementations done, gut sounds were heard earlier than other groups and control group, flatus and excretion were come out earlier (p<0,05). Its thought that this study is going to lead the other studies which will ve applied on different patient groups that have more samplings. Because gum chewing, early oral hidration and early mobilization increase the intestinal motility after caserean birth, in terms of shortening effect on discharge span and preventing postoperative ileus, they were suggested to implement all togetherin postoperative routine care.
