Üniversite Gençlerinin Toplumsal Hareketlere Katılım Biçim ve Dinamikleri: Ankara’da Bir Grup Üniversite Öğrencisi Üzerine Bir Araştırma
Abstract
This study examines the relevance of theoretical debates, which conceive of social movements in a divide of “old” and “new”, in understanding and explaining dynamics of social movements in given social settings. This examination is carried out on the basis of empirical data collected by means of in-depth interviews from the members of different left wing/socialist student youth organizations active in various universities located in Ankara. A total number of 32 activists have been interviewed and these consist of 14 women and 18 men belonging to 7 different organizations.
