Aim of this dissertation is to describe the concept of social capital in the context of social development and women NGO s of which is dwelled on enormously from 1990s by lots of social sciences such as sociology, economics, management sciences, law and lately used to explain developmental differences between communities. When it is thought that communities with more social capital become more developed, in this sense social capital is a valuable resource, makes contribution to individuals and groups in achieving their goals. In current study, social capital is examined by sociological perspective which defends that social capital is mostly produced at organizational system. In current study Ankara, Çankırı, Trabzon, Elazığ cities are determined as study area. Depth interview technique was used in the study.
