Aile İçi Şiddet Mağduru Kadınların Şema Modeli Açısından İncelenmesi
Özet
This study analyzed shelter-residing domestic violence victims (N=79) with non-victim married women (N=78) in terms of Schema Focused Model. The data were collected via Young Schema Questionnaire Short From, Young Parenting Inventory, Young Compensation Inventory, Young Avoidance Inventory and demographic form. The results showed that domestic violence victims scored higher at Impaired Autonomy, Other-Directedness and Disconnection-Rejection schema domains. Two groups did not score different at Unrelenting Standards and Impaired Limits schema domains.Domestic violence victim women generally scored higher at both mother and father forms.Domestic violence victims generally scored higher at avoidance and compensation coping styles compared to non-victim women. Schema domains that domestic violence victims had were mostly predicted by neglecting, non-limiting or rule-based parenting styles.
