The main aim of this study is to investigate the effects of automatic attention in the context of facial attractiveness, perceptional load and cue type on the change detection performance.Firstly, a photo set has been created. 186 volunteer students (120 female, 66 male) were photographed with neutral expression. All faces were edited in a fixed size and grayscale, and left symmetrical and right symmetrical face versions were created by taking mirror images. All faces including the original faces were rated by 34 female and 33 male students in terms of being neutral and levels of attractiveness on a seven-point Liker scale. Eventually, Face Photos Set which consists of 52 photographs (13 images for each group) have been created.
