Anrede und Begrüssungswörter im Deutschen Und im Türkischen. Ein Beitrag Zur Kontrastiven Lexikologie und Semantik
Abstract
Ways of addressing and using sobriquet mostly reflect relationship, proximity andcommunication among people; and they are types of expression which enhancesinteraction among them. This present study particularly emphasizes sobriquet usagesand ways of addressing within the German and Turkish publications which is aboutcountry life. Country side dwellers who hold traditional affiliation among themselvesbefore the Surname Law issued on 21st June 1943, and who have been continuedpatriarchal life style, were naming their newborn children with their grandparents,fathers, mothers or any other family ancestor. Accordingly, same names have repeatedlybeen used. Therefore, people were given sobriquets based on their several prominentcharacteristics. There are other sobriquets determining factors beside people s physical,psychological, and personality such as their way of life, perspective on life, and humanrelationships as well.
